This Wiki will be dedicated to the students in our class. They will develop the web pages found here and fill them with topics and ideas that are important and interesting to them. The students just posted a new play on our Creative Corner page. There is also some reviews of movies, books, and games at Critic's Corner. Check them out!!
Getting Ready for Science Fair!!
The Dr. Green Science Fair will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012. To help make the best science project possible, we need to start planning what our project will be ahead of time. There are some links given below that will help with the planning of your science fair project, it's presentation, and the written report. There is also a link to help pick out ideas, and a time line of due dates so everyone knows when everything is to be completed.
You can also check out our Science Vocabulary web page to review other words that our students have worked on defining and clarifying.
Our Class USTREAM!

TAKS Motivation
I have been trying to think of a way to get the students motivated to take their upcoming TAKS test. In the past I have given a speech on how taking the test is like looking for a hidden treasure or fighting against the forces of evil. I decided to take that speech and put it into motion. Below is the finished presentation.
I have attached a video of a presentation given at a 2006 TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference by Sir Ken Robinson. It is a very interesting perspective on our current public education process. It is approximately 20 minutes long, but well worth the time.
